The Appliers.ai team spent Friday at Royal Randwick in Sydney for the EOS APAC Conference. It was one of the best rooms we have been in all year.

A surprisingly simple way to run a business

If you have never come across EOS, it is a surprisingly simple way of running a business. One shared vision. An Accountability Chart that makes it clear who owns what. And a weekly rhythm that keeps everyone focused and honest.

Simple. And incredibly effective.

Appliers.ai speaks the language of businesses that run on EOS. We do not ask anyone to rip up what already works. We go inside the business, map how the work actually gets done, and find the repeatable tasks that are taking up too much of people’s time.

We loved watching Pete Gatt speak on the main stage. His argument was simple. Within two years every business in that room will fall into one of two groups, and this quarter decides which. The full talk is here: Move first, or get left behind.

Rocco was a crowd favourite

Rocco, our AI robot, was a crowd favourite with his quick wit and dance moves. Plenty of people walked up to meet him and take pictures with him, then stayed to talk about what AI could do in their own business.

AI is sitting on nearly every Issues List

We met EOS implementers from around the world, and they all told us the same thing. AI was sitting on nearly every client’s Issues List.

It came up, it got discussed, and then it rolled over to the next meeting, because most teams did not know where to start.

AI made it onto the Issues List. It just never came off it.

These were businesses with a vision, an Accountability Chart and a Level 10 they actually held. They knew how to execute. What they were missing was a first move small enough to put on the list. “Do something about AI” survives every meeting, because you cannot IDS it in ninety minutes.

We gave everyone the same answer. Make it smaller. One seat on the chart, one repeatable job. The method is written up here: Turn your Accountability Chart into an execution engine.

The conversations were the best part

Where the day actually happened.

And that was the best part of the day: all the conversations we had. Talking to leaders and their teams about how we can help them transform their businesses using AI.

Thanks to the entire conference team for a fantastic day, and to everyone who stopped by our booth for a chat. We have a long list of follow ups to get through, and we are looking forward to finding out more about your businesses.

You already did the hard part. You built the system. Now put an AI engine into it.
